Chen Yingzhen stands in the literary world of Taiwan with the image of the third world left-wing thinker.His novels were rich in historical thickness and concentration of thought.To understand Taiwan after the war,Chen Yingzhen is inseparable.Reading Chen Yingzhen's novels from the postcolonial perspective not only conforms to Taiwan's history and social reality,but also accurately grasps its historical care and realistic criticism and elucidates the current significance of Chen Yingzhen's literature.The introduction part roughly summarized the results of various aspects of Chen Yingzhen's research,introduced some representative and inspiring articles,as well as the reason for choosing this topic,research methods and general structure of this paper.Chapter one mainly analyzed the main symptoms reflected by Chen Yingzhen's novels in different periods,and examined the construction process of subjectivity from a diachronic perspective.From the initial accidental acceptance of left-wing resources,the left-wing ideal sprouts,into the society,struggling between ideals and reality,and then accepted rich thought resources,the main body became mature,the ideal was more firm,the process of Chen Yingzhen's subject construction had continuity.Chapter two analysed the changes in Taiwan society during the post-colonial period observed in Chen Yingzhen's sensitive and critical eyes.The essence of this process was the conflict of civilizations.The prosperity of "City" and the loss of "Hometown",through the cloud of the history,Chen Yingzhen portrayed the phenomenon of individuals being alienated and identity disorder.The essence of the phenomenon was the re-colonization of Taiwan by the post-colonial empire.Chapter three combed Chen Yinzhen's novels on the influence of Taiwan's old colonial history on the current Taiwanese and his criticism of the neocolonial reality.The remnants of Japanese colonial culture led to "colonial sequelae".The new colonial methods of the empire such as the United States and Japan caused the Taiwanese people to attach serious mentality and lose their subjectivity and independence.The way to reshape identity was to absorb local resources and replace colonial sensitivity with a third world view.
