Research On The Ethical Issues Of Convergence Technology

Convergence technology has attracted worldwide attention since it was proposed in 2001.Convergence technology is the new direction of the development of science and technology,and it is the new stage of the development of science and technology to today.After the emergence of convergence technology,it has a great impact on the traditional ethical concept,and may even completely change the traditional ethics.Therefore,we should pay close attention to the development direction and application field of convergence technology,and apply technical ethics to each stage of its research,development and application,so as to prevent and control the negative impact of convergence technology on human beings and ensure their own safety.Firstly,the concept of convergence technology is introduced.It is pointed out that the main characteristics of convergence technology compared with single technology are promotion,internality,diversity and ethics.This paper explores the impact of convergence technology on human beings from three aspects: achieving a major breakthrough in the field of medical treatment,enhancing human capabilities,changing human evolution and natural selection.Secondly,the ethical problems caused by convergence technology are analyzed from the aspects of life ethics,social ethics and ecological ethics.Inappropriate research and development of convergence technology may cause species disputes,violate human freedom,privacy and dignity,shake moral pedigree,undermine social justice and social order,violate deities,subvert natural evolutionary order and cause irreversible ecological damage,etc.Thirdly,this paper discusses the origin of ethical problems of convergence technology from six aspects: the essence and alienation of technology,the imbalance between the change of people's concept of technology and the development of technology,the characteristics of convergence technology itself,political and institutional factors,economic factors and cultural factors.Finally,the paper puts forward countermeasures from four aspects: government,enterprise,society and individual.At the government level,it is necessary to implement a hierarchical system for convergence technology,establish and improve policies and legal systems related to convergence technology,and prohibit unnecessary enhancement of individual ability.At the enterprise level,we should coordinate "economic man" and "moral man" and enhance the sense of responsibility.At the social level,we should strengthen the subject convergence,innovate the scientific research system,and improve the educational mode matching the convergence technology.At the individual level,we should set up the ethics,improve our own scientific accomplishment and consciousness of participation.This paper aims to guide the development and application of technology,build a harmonious and healthy technical society,realize the healthy and orderly development of human and technology,human and nature,and minimize the ethical problems caused by convergence technology.
