Research On Chen Xiwo's Dark Writing

Chen Xiwo,by revealing the dark sides shrouded in everyday life,breaks social norms that people take for granted.Dark writing refers to the extreme narrative of morality and humanity,darkness and violence,as well as sadomasochism and sex in Chen Xiwo's works.The darkness comes from the despair and hope towards the covered world,so the background color of the darkness is bitter,but it ultimately points to the light of hope.This paper attempts to explore the significance and limitations of Chen xiwo's dark writing.The introduction to this paper mainly explains the significance of the topic and the study of prior scholars.The first chapter,through the intensive reading of the text,tries to explore the theme of death,the darkness and the extreme questioning in extreme narrative which are repeatedly written in Chen xiwo's novels.The second chapter mainly analyzes the phenomena of sadomasochism in his novels,and discusses them from the perspect ives of sadomasochism,sex and the female body,and then probe into the survival and spiritual predicament under sadomasochism.The third chapter mainly analyzes the significance and limitation of Chen xiwo's spiritual exploration,as well as the spiritual predicament of people in the cramped living condition with the attitude of "judge",also briefly analyzes the relevant literature resources that influence Chen xiwo's literary creation.
