The Pragmatism Feeling Of Wang Kaiyun's Poetry

Wang Kaiyun is a special older in circles of poets of the late Qing Dynasty.He experienced Daoguang,Xianfeng,Tongzhi,Guangxu,Xuantong,and the Republic of China six periods in total,and was a traditional intellectual who stand at the crossroads of historical times.He was deeply influenced by the traditional Confucian culture,always pursued the virtue of a saint and managed the nation in order,desired to build a career through the imperial examination.In that coufused society of the late Qing Dynasty,he was full of classics,and heartwarming,always concerned national destiny and social well-being.As a master of Confucian studies of the late Qing Dynasty,he tried to find effective prescription to save the people through Confucian studies and to eliminate social ills,and to restoring social order.This article is the object of study Wang Kaiyun's poetry,explores its the pragmatism feeling feelings with his poetics and times as well as the unique way to express this feeling,deeply analysises this feeling of producted the root and the complex mentality of traditional intellectuals at a time of change.Through the understand of Wang Kaiyun's Poetry,this article discoursed his concern and anxiety for national economy and people's Livelihood,meditation and responsibility to the real world,and showed meaning and value of the times of Wang Kaiyun's Poetry.This article was divided into four parts,part I is introduction,it will retrospect the connotation of the world and status of research about Wang Kaiyun's poetry.Part II,it will discuss embodies of Wang Kaiyun's feelings of the world in his poetry,including the ambition of national stability and defending foreign enemies,governance of the state feelings,look forward to “Ritchie” society as well as pay attention to society talents.Part III,the artistic expression of the feelings of the world: regularly used old story from Han Dynasty and Southern and Northern Dynasties,good at narrative,good at using the ancient style and poems to euphemisticly express his thoughts,the meaning of Classic books was joined into the poem but don't use Classic words.Part IV,it will analysis of the Origin of the world feelings of Wang Kaiyun's Poetry: Confucian tradition,the influence of the world spirit of Huxiang,the call of decline nations of the late Qing Dynasty.He fully shows the concern of a Confucian intellectual for the fate of the country and the people's livelihood,shows the unique light of Huxiang scholars' attention to reality.Moreover,he had to reflect on the state of society and to seek solutions.He's based on reality,recorded the changes of the times,exclamed the hardships of people's livelihood,expressed patriotic feelings.The attention to the national economy and people's livelihood in his poetry is a profound manifestation of his feelings.
