In the current society,schools pay more and more attention to the cultivation of students' creativity,which can be improved through training.This study has two research purposes.First,in order to explore the effects of two short-term creativity training programs on junior high school students,the study based on the analysis and comparison of various creativity training programs,and refers to relevant theories and methods and designs two simple and easy-to-learn short-term creativity training programs ideation skills training program and relaxation training program.The ideation skills training is on the basis of the development rule of creative thinking ability training of thinking training method in view of the point of view,relaxation training is through conscious adjustment of individual's physical and mental activity,make the individual's arousal level is reduced,thus improving the body disorder a training method,both can according to the cognitive process of creativity potential for training.The current study enrolled 139 eighth grade students in a middle school in Zhejiang province,who were randomly divided into three groups: ideation skills training group,relaxation training group and general mental health group.Research tools is Torrance tests of Creative Thinking language both party a and party b version,Raven's Standard Progressive Matrices and Positive and Negative Affect Scale,and the study adopted a mixed experimental design,two factors with time(pretest and posttest)and group(ideation skills training group,relaxation training group,general mental health groups)as the independent variable,creativity scores and the scores of each dimension as the dependent variable,with emotion and intelligence as the control variables for analysis.In order to further explore the influence of personality factors on the effect of creativity training,90 students in the ideation skills training group and the relaxation training group were selected in this study.Using the median segmentation method,the students personality traits of extroversion dimension divided into extroversion and introversion,openness dimension is divided into high openness and low openness,using mixed experimental design for three factors,at the time(pretest,posttest),group(ideation skills training group,relaxation training group)and personality traits,extraversion and introversion/high openness,low openness)as the independent variable,creativity,and the scores of dimensions as the dependent variable,emotional and intellectual as control variables.This study focuses on the comparison of the improvement effect of creativity of the subjects with different extroversion and openness in the two kinds of creativity training,so as to provide guidance for different groups in the selection of creativity methods.The research conclusions of this study were as follows:First,the ideation skills training can effectively improve the performance of creativity.After ideation skills training,students can significantly improve their fluency,originality and creativity,but not their flexibility.Short-term relaxation training was not effective in improving creative performance.Second,the effect of ideation skills training was better for extroverted middle school students.The extroverted middle school students who have received ideation skills training perform better in creativity.Third,the ideation skills training had a better effect on the creative ability of high open middle school students.High school students who were high openness and trained in ideation skills training perform better in originality.
