| In the Ming Dynasty,the northern Mongolian monarchies were always the major side of the Ming Dynasty,which had a great impact on the political,military,and social aspects of the Ming Dynasty.In order to prevent the invasion of the Mongolian tribes such as the North Corrugated and the Sui,the Ming government attaches great importance to the construction of the Great Wall defense system.In its long Great Wall military defense system,the Datong of the northwestern part of the mountain and the three internal and external defense lines are the top priority,and it is the gateway to the security of the capital.In the late Ming Dynasty,the peasant uprising began,the Tai hang mountain of Jing Xing pass fixed customs and the Inner Three Pass became a strategic barrier to prevent the peasant army from entering the Near the capital region.The strategic position of the southwestern and Central Shanxi regions was highlighted.In short,the Ming Dynasty has an important military strategic position in the national security system.This importance has been fully reflected in the relevant war activities,and the ending of these wars has had an important impact on the historical fate of the Ming Dynasty.This thesis comprehensively sorts out and studies the military geography of Shanxi in the Ming Dynasty from the aspects of Shanxi’s geographical environment and military geography value,Shanxi military layout,the influence of geographical environment on war,and the evolution of Shanxi’s military strategic position.In order to reveal the geographical environment of Shanxi’s military strategy in the Ming Dynasty and the comprehensive influence of Shanxi’s geographical environment on its domestic war activities during this period. |
