| As one of the important grammatical means of modern Chinese,word overlap has always been an important part of Chinese linguistics’ research.Although the ontology research of word overlap has made great achievements,there are less studies on the errors of the foreign students in terms of word overlap,especially for the country-specific research in this aspect.This paper aims to explore the error performance of Korean students in the use of word overlap via the analysis of the HSK dynamic composition corpus and the questionnaires.After classifying and analyzing the causes of errors,some suggestions on teaching and teaching materials will also be proposed to address this problem.This error study not only is valuable to the Chinese teaching of Korean students,but also facilitates Korean students to acquire grammar and pragmatic rules of word overlap,thus improving their level of using Chinese.The thesis includes the following four parts:The first part mainly explains the significance of the topic,research summary,theoretical basis,research methods and source of corpus.The author systematically analyzes the HSK dynamic composition corpus according to different nationalities,and draws the following conclusions: Korean students account for the largest proportion of errors of word overlap,therefore,it is of great significance to carry out systematic study on the error performance,causes and strategies of Korean students in word overlap.The second part analyses the error types of the Korean students in word overlap.Through the analysis of the HSK dynamic composition corpus and questionnaire survey,the author makes a detailed analysis and summary on the error types of the Korean students in word overlap.The results show that the errors of verb overlap in Korean students is the most serious;the unnecessary overlap but overlap is the largest one in the errors of adjective overlap;In addition,for the errors of quantifiers and adverbs overlap,several types of errors are almost the same.The third part is the analysis of the reasons for the error of Korean students.Korean students have more errors in word overlap,mainly due to negative transfer of mother tongue,overgeneralization of target language,learning strategies and learning environment.The fourth part is the teaching suggestions and strategies involving teaching and teaching materials.In teaching Chinese as a foreign language,teachers can carry out spiral teaching in stages for Korean students through explaining the scope and conditions of the usage of word overlap in details and with the use of a variety of reasonable teaching methods,thus addressing the common mistakes in word overlap. |
