Fairness preference is an important criterion in human social life.A large number of studies have confirmed that individuals who are unfairly treated will have negative emotions or will sacrifice their own interests to punish unfair people.Individuals will weigh the fairness and self-interest in the game progress, and how to choose will be affected by many factors. Therefore, the exploration of individual fairness needs to be carried out from multiple angles. This paper intends to examine the individual's fair preferences through the ultimatum game paradigm.Different cognitive tasks are used to consume the individual's cognitive load,so as to explore the impact of cognitive load on individual behavioral outcomes and the fairness of individuals with different social value orientations under cognitive load. The study participants were college students, and a total of 141 people completed three experiments. To this end, three experiments were carried out to explore the above contents, and 141 college students were selected as subjects to complete three experiments.Experiment 1 explores whether the cognitive load can influence the individual's decision-making process.Participants completed decision-making tasks under different cognitive load conditions, and the impact of cognitive load on the decision-making process is decided by their response time and rejection rate.Experiments 2 and 3 respectively explore the influence of cognitive load on the inferior and superior unfair decision-making of individuals with different social value orientations.Under the condition of cognitive load,pro-social and pro-self individuals, according to their different levels of fairness The difference in behavior leads to a corresponding conclusion. The results are as follows:(1)High cognitive load can influence individual decision-making,but low cognitive load has no significant impact on individual decision-making process.(2)Different memory digital tasks have different effects on individual cognitive load.Specifically, the memory resource extraction of the individual is higher than the memory retelling digital task and reaches a significant level. The memory retelling digital task has no significant difference between the individual's cognitive resource consumption and the control group.(3)Under the unfair disadvantage situation, the decision-making behaviors of individuals with different social value orientations will be affected by cognitive load.Specifically, under cognitive load conditions, the behavior of pro-social individuals will be more pro-social,while the behavior of pro-individual individuals will be more personal.(4)Under the unfair advantage condition, the decision-making behavior of pro-social individuals will be affected by cognitive load, and the trend of change is consistent with the unfairness of inferiority, but the decision-making behavior of pro-individuals will not be affected by cognitive load.
