The Influence Of Emotions On Social Decision Making In The Ultimatum Game

Emotional Processes have definite influence on interpersonal interaction, as one of theimport factors emotion has been the hotspot in kinds of subject. Emotion regulation ispoint to in emotional awakening, people change of thinking or behavior to influence theemotional produce, experience and expression of emotion. Emotion and emotionaladjustment in the process of time has also sex, mood regulation as emotional occurred inthe whole process of the process of emotional happen is the process of emotion regulation.In recent years, emotion and decision-making and the relationship between the emotionaladjustments is in psychology in many areas of concern hot spots. This paper researches theeffect of mood and emotion regulation to social decisions, on the basis of past research.This study used the process of ultimatum game, and the psychological physiologyexperiment method, this article discussed mood and emotion regulation of social impact ofdecisions, the paper include two experiments.The lab1has explored the effect of different emotions on social decisions. At the sametime study the change of autonomic nervous activity with different emotions; Lab2discusses the two strategies of emotional regulations, expressive suppression andemotional reappraisal to the social impact of decisions making.The main results showed as follows.(1)The film of positive emotions and negative emotions cause the two kinds ofemotions.(2) The rate of acceptation of positive emotion is higher than negative emotion group.(3) In the ultimatum game, the rate of acceptation of female is higher than male; theaffection of Gender Pairing of the partners is not remarkable. No matter what kind ofgender their partner has, the participants do the same things.(4) The physiological situation is different in three stages that is the stage before test, the stage of the film, the stage in the ultimatum game. The alternation is that the BVPHeart rate, the Skin Resistance, the EMG Mean UV and the Temp smoothing avg turnedto be higher; the Resp Mean Rate is up first then down.(5) The group of emotional reappraisal group has higher rate of acceptation thanemotional suppression.(6)In the condition of reappraisal, the positive emotion group and negative emotiongroup has higher rate of acceptation than their compared group. In the condition ofsuppression, the negative emotion group has higher rate of acceptation than the comparedgroup, but the positive emotion did not.(7) In the condition of reappraisal, the positive emotion group has almost the same rateof acceptation compare to the negative emotion group; in the condition of suppression, thepositive emotion group has higher rate of acceptation compare to the negative emotiongroup.(8) The group of emotional reappraisal group has higher physiology reaction thanemotional suppression.
