With the development of society,the society needs a large number of talents with English knowledge.Junior high school is a critical period for students to lay a good foundation for English.If students are able to lay a good foundation for English in junior high school,they can have the ability to learn English continuously.On the other hand,students will encounter many obstacles in learning English in the future.Students'interest in learning is directly related to whether students can lay a solid foundation in English.The students' interest in learning is an important force to drive them to learn English knowledge.Only with a strong interest in learning,the students will be willing to learn English actively,learn knowledge widely,and take the initiative to train English skills so that they can lay a good foundation for English knowledge.At present,many junior middle school students' interest in English learning is not high.What is the factor that influences junior middle school students' interest in learning English?First,through collecting literature and obtaining relevant theoretical knowledge,this paper puts forward five ways to evaluate junior high school students' English learning status from functional cognition,pleasure,input,expansion and application,and gives the evaluation scale of English learning status.Secondly,this paper puts forward the methods to analyze the students' learning interest factors from the three dimensions of school,family and individual,and gives the methods to establish the evaluation scale and the scale data model,and applies the model to the learning interest factors,and obtains the eight factors that can affect the students' interest in learning.Finally,by analyzing the positive or negative effects of these eight factors on students,it shows that if we want to improve students' interest in learning English,teachers should give students the influence of subjective learning factors and optimize the construction of the environment of objective learning factors,and then apply the methods of direct promotion and indirect promotion to the eight factors.This is the way to improve students' interest in learning.
