The Strategy Research Of The Group Cooperative Learning In Senior English Language Points Teaching

In order to promote the educational refonn,many schools start to adopt the teaching method in which the class is divided into different layers,and it is advocated that teachers of all subjects put group cooperative learning into use.For English class,many teachers have applied the group cooperative learning to the speaking and listening class,which makes a difference.However,because of too much knowledge content and heavy teaching task,few teachers choose the group cooperative learning when they teach language points.In order to make it clear whether the group cooperative learning can be applied to the language points teaching in senior high school,the researcher designs the comparing experiment.The researcher chooses two equal level classes;the group cooperative learning is put into the experimental class,while the comparing class still uses the traditional method.Compared with the grades of the two classes,we can figure out the following questions:whether the learning motivation can be improved or not,whether the ability of focusing,learning and retaining can be developed or not,and whether the cooperation capability and knowledge competitiveness can be raised.Firstly,based on the heterogeneous grouping rule,the class is dividded into nine groups,and the nine groups take part in the class activities.Judging from the grades of each group,the researcher evaluates the groups and gives the groups rewards or punishments based on the established standards.With the methods of comparing grades,the survey and the interviews,the researcher makes sure that the group cooperative learning does good to the teaching of language points.Meanwhile,the researcher discusses the problems in the process of the group cooperative teaching,and then proposes some usefid methods.
