Study On Porcelain Drinking Vessels From Tang Dynasty To Yuan Dynasty

With the dramatic development of Jingdezhen ceramics during Tang and Yuan dynasties,the evolution of the porcelain drinking vessels were going ahead smoothly as well.At present,There are plenty of research results in the Jingdezhen porcelain drinking vessels during Tang and Yuan dynasties among scholars.But the analysis on evolution of porcelain vessels and it's influence factors in this period there are still at a relatively weak position.In this paper,the published liquor-making techniques and liquor-drinking ritual,especially the historic development of Jingdezhen porcelain drinking vessels data has been made into a system argument,Then on the base of these,the preliminary research on the porcelain liquor storing ? keeping ? pouring and drinking utensils' development situation and evolution rule were made.This paper is divided into six parts.Introduction:introduce the reason for choosing this topic,define the space and the time?Chapter One:liquor culture research during Tang and Yuan dynasties review.Int roduce and summarize the liquor-making techniques?liquor-drinking ritual?eating and drinking gestures?class divisions and the related factors during Tang and Yua n dynasties.Sum up the progress of the liquor quality and the drinking population growth from Tang dynasty to Yuan dynasty.As well as the develop and the popu larize history of the distilled liquor techniques during late Song dynasty to Yuan dynasty.all of these laid the foundation to further study the porcelain drinking ves sels in this period.Chapter Two:divide Tang?Song?Yuan three period to analyze and summarize the types and characteristics of Jingdezhen main porcelain drinking vessels.each stage classify on the basis of the porcelain liquor storing ? keeping ? pouring and drinking utensils' main function and types.Chapter Three:analyze the influential factors of the Jingdezhen porcelain drinking vessels during Tang and Yuan dynasties.Reveal the rules of how the Jingdezhen porcelain drinking vessels fuse together with foreign and native utensils' shapes and patterns which is the same type but different material.meanwhile,the porcelain drinking vessels bringing new blood,it also stands at the way of shaping and to fired thinking,as well as the aesthetic tendency of the native in that periodChapter Four:Revisionist the occurrence time of distilled liquor by evolution rules research of the Jingdezhen porcelain vessels during Tang and Yuan dynasties.At first,analyze the evolution process of each types of porcelain vessels,We hold that Jingdezhenporcelain drinking vessels getting smaller and more delicate since late southern Song dynasty.this phenomenon turns up as evidence of the occurrence time of distilled liquor.Secondly,Clarify the separation method of the Jingdezhen porcelain utensils between the drinking vessels and the tea vessels.The last part is conclusion.summarizing the research results of this paper and point out the problems and limitations.
