The Ideological Change Of Dahui Zonggao's Zen Thoughts

Dahui Zonggao's zen thought is based on the zen thought of mind,and combined with Linji Yixuan,Yangqi Fanghui,Zhantang Wenzhun,Yuanwu Keqin and other people's ideas.Zonggao's zen thought not only had an important influence at that time,but also had a profound significance to the later development of zen.For example,it provided a new paradigm for the later scholars to study Buddhism.What's more,under the influence of his Words Seeing zen,Chanting zen finally formed.It can be said that Zonggao is not only an important person in the revival of Linji,but also an important person in the development history of zen.In this paper,Dahui Zonggao's zen thoughts as the core,combined with his time background and life experience,focuses on the development and change of his zen thoughts,trying to extract a complete and clear context from the development of Zonggao's thoughts,and providing a way of thinking to study the development and change of the same type of zen master zen thoughts.The article will divide Zonggao's zen thought into three parts.The first part is the development process of Zonggao's thoughts before his enlightenment,mainly involving his learning experience and thought change before enlightenment.The second part is Zonggao's thought change after enlightenment,involving his mind thought,mainly from the the point of "not two" to discuss,involving his zen thoughts,and his words seeing zen thoughts is mainly discussed in this part.The third part mainly discusses the effect of Zonggao's zen thought on the later zen meditation and Buddhism study,involving zen of scholar-officials and chanting zen.
