Young teachers make up a large proportion of junior middle school English education nowadays,but their growth environment,knowledge structure and thinking characteristics are different from those of middle-aged and old teachers.There is no doubt that young junior middle school teachers are the main force in junior middle school English teaching,while young junior middle school English teachers are more educated and young junior middle school English teachers are more educated.In the process of junior middle school English education,how to cultivate the junior middle school English young teachers,how to give full play to their strong points,how to further stimulate their potential,and how to promote the overall quality of junior middle school English young teachers will become the main content of this paper.This paper defines the concepts of English teachers 'professional development,English teaching syllabus,English curriculum standards and so on,and studies lifelong learning talents,Maslow's needs theory and life development theory through literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and analysis.Based on the study of the basic personal conditions,professional knowledge,personal ability,professional ideas,teachers'ethics and professional development needs of young English teachers in junior middle schools,this paper holds that the following problems exist among young English teachers in junior middle schools:inadequate mastery of professional knowledge and competence,inadequate mastery of English teaching strategies and methods,and self-development of young teachers.Lack of exhibition consciousness,less support from local governments for teachers 'professional development and school management system are not conducive to teachers' professional development.Countermeasure schools should strengthen the strength and quality of professional growth training for young teachers,attach importance to the renewal and practice of teaching strategies and methods for young teachers,cultivate young teachers 'self-development awareness,provide legal and policy guarantee for young teachers,and provide system guarantee and human care for young teachers.
