When it comes to the serious problems of environmental pollution,people expanding and worsening of living condition,improving the survival environment,living harmoniously with the nature and the sustainable development of the economy alike has been becoming a series critical environmental problem which should be solved in priority during the developing of the society.With the people and government's concern for environmental protection,multiply publicities are being launched with the help of the fast developing mass media.Public service advertising on environmental protection(PSAOEP),people exposed in it mostly,is one of the far-reaching modes of the environmental protecting communication.Through the delivering the knowledge,ideas and behaviors of environmental protection in various media,the PSAOPE have people know and recognize the environmental protection,and appeal the people with the practical movements to settle the issue of the environment,and realize the harmony between human and nature.Through the PSAOEP in China started later but made rapid progress,from 1980 s to today,there was a bunch of excellent work of PSAOEP.Compared with the western countries',the advertising creation itself,effect of media publicity and operative mechanism still has a huge gap.With the concern of the industrial and commercial enterprises,the government-operated environmental protecting publicity is converting to the multi-operation.More and more enterprises realize that the environment protection and Green consumption is the inexorable trend of the social and economic development.Delivering the good image of corporation is the critical mission that each corporation has to confront.The Green design appears in the products and the activities of publicity.Different media has different feature,the print ads has a higher requirement for the designer's ability.When the audience recognizes the Ad,he will be interested in it,and stop to appreciate it instead of turning to “next page”.Only when the element of environmental protection becomes “conspicuous” and non-neglected,can be realized the function of environmental publicity.Given the less attention to the environmental protecting products,low awareness and the power of execution to the environmental protection,the development of Environmental Protecting Advertisement is not mature,and the consumers' cognition are relatively low.Therefore,through the researching of the PSAOEP,the idea of environmental protection should be interiorized into the public,and the research will also offer the great help for the environmental protection.By the survey and analysis of the audiences' cognition degree to the environmental protecting element and the convoying messages in the printed ADs from different corporations,the article is mainly discussing the acceptance level to various design and message,and is studying the cognition of visual elements of printed ad designing for the environmental protection.
