China and Arab countries have a long history of mutual learning and interaction.Through the past 2000 years,the people of China and Arab countries had great cooperation,promoting mutual learning between the two great civilizations.With the deepening of cooperation between China and Arab countries,more and more exchanges will take place between the two societies,and there will be exchanges between the two peoples in many aspects and occasions.In recent years,many Arab students come to China to study.Although the cultural communication between Arabs and China are getting closer and closer,there are still misunderstandings and communication problems caused by the cultural differences between both societies.Based on the in-depth exploration and analysis of the experience of Arab students in China,this paper aims to find out the most common cultural differences between Arabs and Chinese.This paper focuses on some cases of Arab student's life in China.It analyses and compares the different cultural concepts between Arab society and Chinese society,and provides useful guidance for teaching Arab students.The first chapter of this paper is the research background,introducing the research content and purpose of this paper and other related content,so as to pave the way for the research.The second chapter is the theoretical framework and research methods of this study,introducing the analysis methods of cultural sharing stories and "five Elements model" Chapter three elaborates on the cases of Arab students'cultural shared stories,and analyze these stories according to the "five elements model".Chapter IV summarizes the main reasons for the cultural differences,and explains the cultural differences between China and Arab countries through Hofstede's cultural dimension theory,and compares the cultural patterns of China and typical Arab-Egyptian countries.Chapter five,introduces some suggestions on the learning methods of Arabic students in Chinese classroom based on the concept of the cultural third space.Based on the analysis of the stories shared by Arab students,this study points out that the main reason for the communication barrier between Chinese and Arabs is the difference between the Islamic teachings and conservative ideas of Arabs and the Confucian ideas of Chinese.At the same time,based on the further discussion of these cases,it shows that in the process of teaching Chinese to Arab students,the use of the theory of "cross cultural third space" can effectively reduce the misunderstanding between Arab students and Chinese and enhance the student's knowledge about the chinese culture.
