This study attempted to investigate cross-cultural pressure of Korean students in China, and Christian impacts in their cross-cultural adaptation.Questionnaires were conducted to understand cross-cultural pressure of Korean students in China after they accept faith in Christ. Semi-structure interviews were executed to explore what aspects of pressure which Christianity helps to relieve. Furthermore, this study discussed how Christianity works in cross-cultural adaptation by phenomenological method. Results are as follows:(1)Cross-cultural pressure of Korean students studying in China is intermediate. Gender and age difference are significant.(2)Their adaptation significantly improves in the following aspects:sense of insecurity, loneliness, separation anxiety, inadaptation to daily habits, learning pressure, feelings of inferiority, inadaptation to different social customs. However, adaptation to pressures induced by anxiety of language barrier, relationship failures, economic pressure and negative events in family, don’t show significant difference.(3)Christianity influences cross-cultural adaptation of Korean students studying in China in7aspects. Telling distress to God helps release negative emotion. Love from God enhances their sense of security. Social support from church activities increases their self-esteem. Religious activities benefits in behavior change. Cognition of negative events is moderated. Forgiveness from God helps reduce sense of guilty. To conclude, it functions in2ways. Firstly, Christian doctrine preaches that believers are with God, which supports them with psychological support and religious code of conduct to follow. Secondly, believers gain sense of belonging by attending religious activities.Understanding how Christianity helps Korean students in China offers insight to application of Korean student management.
