Modern Chinese academic distinguished the old from the new by methods and materials,which separated the connections between tradition and modernity in terms of academy and history,value and knowledge potentially.In the 1930s,under the background of the revival of Confucianism,Ma Yifu put forward the theory of "Liuyi integrates all academics",which integrated division by judgment,integrated traditional Chinese academic,revived Confucian culture and saved the people in the world.Establishing Fuxing Academy is the attempt and practice.The main contents of this paper are divieded into five parts.First,outline the evolution of Ma Yifu's academic thought and the trend of modern traditional Chinese learning to investigate his unique view of traditional Chinese learning and the similarities and differences between modern academic schools and him.Then,analyze the Ma Yifu's course from lecturing at Zhejiang University to founding Fuxing academy,investigating the internal and external causes of establishing Fuxing Academy and its running procese,discussing the background and path of traditional Confucianism into modern culture.Thirdly,by sorting out the brochure of the academy,the controversies between Ma Yifu and his friends,and the issue of the academy funding,investigate the regulation and purpose of Fuxing Academy which is different from current education system,and how to interpret and transform Confucianism in the modern context.Fourthly,it's the lecture study of Fuxing Academy.The academy carried out academic exchange and assessment by lecture system and examination.By synthesizing The Lectures of Fuxing Academy,Er Ya Tai Answer,Chuiwan Anthology and Fuxing Academy's Diary,analyze the specific contents of Ma Yifu's lectures with other teachers during Fuxing Academy's lecture period,and the students' understanding and study about them.Study the implementation of "Liuyi Pedagogy" in the academy by reproducing the teaching methods and learning atmosphere.Fifthly,it's the printing study of Fuxing Academy.Investigate various bibliographies prepared and printed during academy's print period to know how Ma Yifu advocated the reading,academic ranking and approach of "Liuyi Pedagogy".At the same time,analyze the economic straits at this time and the complex trend of Fuxing Academy after the victory of Anti-Japanese War.Reveal the dilemma confronted by the transformation of Confucianism in the 1930s and 1940s and the attempt to find a way out.In this paper,through the study of Fuxing Academy,we try to show Ma Yifu's realistic care and practical path of "Liuyi integrates all academics".This paper examines the academic reactions,gains and losses of Fuxing Academy,and then considers the uniqueness of Ma Yifu's academy and the possibility of "Liuyi integrates all academics"becoming a model.Thus,reveal the pluralistic trend of the transformation of modern Confucianism,and provides knowledge reference and ideological resources for the exploration of the contemporary civilized country.
