Research On The Trade In Nanchang Of The Associations (1929-1938)

With the fall of the Republic of China,the generalization of the trade associations across the country has gradually become a national trend,showing the trend of replacing traditional trade organizations such as the old guilds.Nanchang,as a regional political and economic center,is no exception in its natural form.Nanchang City Associations with the Nanchang area as the main activity space,or spontaneous or government-led,gradually formed a relatively complete organizational structure and relatively strict operational mechanism.The Nanchang Association of Traders has the economic functions that it should have as an economic organization for the industry,as well as the political and social functions that are common to social groups.However,the relatively backward development of industrial and commercial development in Nanchang and the objective environment in the control center of the National Government have made the Nanchang Association of Traders have their own characteristics.It is true that the management of the government has a non-negligible effect on the growth of the Nanchang Trade Association and the organization of the organization,but it also greatly reduces the autonomy of the Nanchang Trade Association.However,the "infinite responsibility" assumed by the government in theory and the "limited attention" actually given create a certain space for the "autonomy" of the Nanchang Trade Association.
