On The Contemporary Enlightenment Of Chen Tuan's Taoist Thought

Taoism is our native religion.Its culture is extensive and profound.It brings together the thinking and exploration of all natural and human phenomena such as life,universe and society by the sages and sages of our ancestors.Taoism is an important cultural heritage of our country.In the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties,great changes took place in Taoism,with the decline of Taoist external alchemy,the growing development of Taoist internal alchemy and the deepening integration of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism.During this period,many outstanding Taoist figures emerged,among which Chen Tuan,a high-level Taoist in the early Five Dynasties and Song Dynasty,was the most talented representative.Chen Tuan,from Confucianism to Taoism,devoted himself to the research and construction of Taoist theory and traditional Chinese necromancy.He not only established a self-cultivation system for Taoist internal alchemy with the guiding ideology of "The dual cultivation of mind and body" but also had a profound impact on the beginning of Neo Confucianism in Song Dynasty,and called the "Chen Tuan old ancestor".This paper examines the background of Chen Tuan's times and his magnificent life.With his Confucianism and Taoism thought of "benefiting the people through the world","Image number of books" Yi Xue thought and "The dual cultivation of mind and body" Taoist internal alchemy thought as the research focus,this paper expounds the characteristics of his Taoist thought,and in the context of contemporary scientific and cultural background,refine and summarize the important enlightenment of his thoughts to contemporary society,strive to explore the effective methods of using the past for the present,and provide theoretical and practical reference for the development of our new round of civilization today.
