Taoist Taoist Ecological Ethics And The Revelation Of Contemporary Ecological Philosophy

The internal cause of Ecological Crisis is attributed a fault to the western scientific paradigm of subject-object-depart and the instrumental value of controlling Nature. This paper elucidates that Taoists and Taoism's ecological wisdom can eliminate the metaphysical obstacle of western anthropocentris which comparts Man and Nature. Through digging in the abundant thinkings ofTaoists and Taoism's eco-ethics, this paper tries to start with three academic elements -Heaven and Man unite one, "Heaven is Father, Earth is Mother" Respect Nature,Doctrine-Law-Nature Having no effort and four practical elements-Dao emphasizing lifeGiving mercy to everything, Content with one's lot, Return to the original purity and simplicity, Depending on each other for survival Be beneficial to social and saving lives, Population conservation and Against war, combines the three academic elements and four practical elements with Ecological Beauty, and then vias the systematization and philosophical analysis of the thinkings of Taoists and Taoism's eco-ethics, this paper gets a paradigm of Taoists and Taoism's eco-ethics which is so Sinitic. Through optimizing this paradigm, this paper not only minutely explains the inspiration which the thinkings of Taoists and Taoism's eco-ethics deliver to modern eco-philosophy, but also gets a new theory-growing point of modern eco-philosophy.
