| Since the 1980 s,legal linguistics began to form a discipline.Since the beginning of the20 th century, the study of legal language in China has drawn on the theories of western linguistics and strengthened the construction of the theoretical system of Chinese legal linguistics. With the deepening of scholars’ research on legal vocabulary, many research results have been obtained and gradually become systematic.Looking at the existing research results of legal lexicon, there are relatively few research results based on dictionary, which hinders the development of legal lexicon to some extent. Therefore,it is necessary to study legal vocabulary from the perspective of dictionaries, because dictionaries contain more corpus and cover more kinds of words than books. The Sui and Tang dynasties,as the most prosperous period in ancient China, ended the chaotic political situation in Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern dynasties and achieved national unification. At this time, the society flourished and the system in politics, economy and law also flourished. In the process of development,it is bound to produce the vocabulary of this period, which bears the responsibility of recording the actual situation of the development of various fields in the sui and tang dynasties. From the perspective of words, this paper analyzes the legal vocabulary of Sui and Tang dynasties(especially judicial neologism)in Chinese dictionary,in order to show the appearance of judicial vocabulary of Sui and Tang dynasties and understand the judicial system of Sui and Tang dynasties. The basic features of a dynasty can be clearly defined through the analysis and research of vocabulary. This paper selects the judicial neologisms(especially synonyms)of Sui and Tang dynasties as the research object for classification and structure discrimination.Because judicial vocabulary has the characteristics of The Times,it can reproduce the judicial system of this dynasty and show the development of judicial vocabulary.Based on the corpus of the Chinese dictionary, this paper analyzes and distinguishes the synonyms of justice in the semantic field of "lawsuit, violation of law, arrest, trial, punishment and pardon" in a closed language environment, and discusses them from the aspects of semantics, grammar and pragmatics. This paper takes the objective description method and the traditional exegesis as the research method, draws on the typical category theory to select the judicial synonyms, and analyzes and studies the judicialsynonyms of Sui and Tang dynasties from the perspective of synchronicity and diachrony. In addition,in the analysis of legal vocabulary in the Sui and Tang dynasties, this paper integrates the theories and methods of modern linguistics and traditional exegesis to conduct lexical analysis,so as to show the appearance of legal vocabulary in the Sui and Tang dynasties and the judicial system, which is the innovation point of this paper. |
