As the quality-oriented education developed in China,people gradually transfer their attention from the traditional examination-oriented education mode to the one focused on the cultivation of comprehensive quality.The traditional teaching mode based on mass teaching is focused on the mass production cultivation,which cannot meet the demand of the call for the talents in the 21~stt century.Recently,education reform policy is put forward by the government step by step to lay more stress on the emotion and attitude cultivation for students.The small class is fully based on teaching essence and led by the thought of"the less students there are,the more attention there may exist."For promoting the small group study process under the small-class-based background,the main work for this paper can be summarized as follows.Firstly,from the prospective of the theory investigation,the current status domestically and aboard is summarized.Secondly,by taking English teaching of the Gucheng Primary School in Shouguang as an example,the update cooperative study status is analyzed from the aspect of teaching practice in order to obtain the unity of theory and practice.Thirdly,various means of investigation,such as questionnaire,interview and the comprehension methods are used to summarize the teaching status of the teachers,as well as the cooperative status of the students.Fourthly,in order to push forward the group cooperative study of the Primary School English Education in the small-class mode,the strategies of how to optimize the interest-oriented teaching of primary school English teaching are discussed separately.The related results are summarized as follows.This new teaching mode could bring about more attention from the teacher on the student individual.Under this circumstance,more energy can be put to every student.This is not only beneficial for the knowledge passing on,but also doing favor to the increasing real-time attention on every student.The small group cooperative study starts with the heterogeneous group,where the student possesses exact aim and meanwhile,the members are highly dependent on each other.The standard for evaluating the whole teaching process is taken among the small group,but not just for the individuals.The heterogeneous and homogenous feature among and within group,respectively,can inspire the advantage of every student,promoting their self-identity obtaining.The small group cooperate teaching is carried out in various ways,such as taking shows,getting discussion,and real practice activity,et al.The enthusiasm and imitative for the students can be motivated.Then,they can accept the class,even the whole education process because of their identity of themselves as masters.Thus,the effectiveness of the class can be really exerted.
