| Music is a unique art and cannot be expressed in words,or the expression of language is always not enough.Metaphorical thinking can provide new dimensions for speech and music to highlight the meaning of music.Music can not be expressed in conceptual languages like literature and painting.It can only be expressed in a“general” manner,but according to the principle of similarity in metaphors,we can replace those unspeakable things with one another.The way to speak is that many musical works,especially romantic period works,need metaphorical expressions to express their implicit meanings.Composer’s works and music are not only used to display its functions,he is used to find a connection between us and it,this connection is just a kind of metaphor.This dissertation mainly uses metaphorical thinking to examine Liszt’s symphonic poem “Tasso-Smelling and Triumph” and analyzes the metaphorical nature of the works by analyzing the musical form and historical context of the work.This thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the origin of the symphonic poem "Tasso",analyzes the reasons from the perspective of metaphor,the theory of foreign metaphor research and the study of Tasso works.Dynamic summary.The second chapter is the historical perspective of the development of metaphor theory.It analyzes the concept of metaphor and the research flow of western metaphor,and introduces the beginning of music metaphor and the interpretation of the realization of music metaphor.The third chapter and the fourth chapter are the key content of this article,and they make a metaphorical interpretation of the musical text and cultural background of Liszt’s Tasso.Because the expression of metaphor is composed of association,similarity,comparison,suggestion,conversion,etc.,and these expressions that constitute the basic connotation of metaphor are often cross-cut.Therefore,the third chapter of the music text starts with metaphor conversion,comparison and association.It interprets the overall layout of the work,the theme theme motives and the metaphorical distribution of the theme genre.Chapter 4 uses a metaphor for the cultural background.The conversions,hints,comparisons,and similar expressions of the artistic tragic genre of Liszt’s work suggest the pain and reincarnation,Tasso’s subtitle "sue and triumphalism" and the misery of life and the comparison of post-death glory and Liszt(ontology)A Metaphorical Interpretation of Tasso’s(Void)Individuals’ Similar Artistic Careers in His Works. |
