Music Ontology Research On Smetana’s Symphonic Poem Divertimento "My Motherland"

Czech national school famous representative composer Smetana’s symphonicpoem divertimento "My Motherland" is the pinnacle of the composer, this workpresents an entirely new form, given the new artistic effect of this new genre ofsymphonic poem. Besides, the skillful composition technique in this work alsoenables the composers to be listed among the world-famous composers. As thefounder of Czech music, Smetana’s symphonic poem the divertimento plays a pivotalrole. Smetana introduces the folkloric elements in a new form enabling to achieve abig step forward in the development of this genre of symphonic poem. In this thesis,the author will take into account several aspects such as structure, harmony,orchestration, and polyphonic to carry out a meticulous research on the musicontology situations of these six movements. The thesis is divided into seven chapters,the first chapter is an introduction, it mainly explains the factors behind the choice ofthis research topic; Chapter II mainly describes the life of the composer and hisdivertimento creation background; Chapter III explores the structure of eachmovement, summarizes its structural characteristics; the fourth chapter analyzes theharmony, searching for the Smetana’s development factors influencing functionalharmony in this divertimento; the fifth study researches the orchestrationcharacteristics, summarizes the situation of the orchestration techniques used in thedivertimento; Chapter VI analyzes the polyphonic operation situation, summarizes thecommon characteristics when Smetana writing polyphonic; In conclusion, I willsummarize the influence of Smetana on the development of this genre of symphonicpoem, and through its development impact snoop into the development perspective ofChina’s symphonic poem.Through the writing of this paper, the author firstly wants to have a morecomprehensive understanding of the genre of the symphonic poem, and hence has adeeper understanding of Smetana, this great composer, has a systematic analysis ofthe contributions of his work "My Motherland" to the development of the symphonicpoem; Secondly, through the analysis of various aspects of Composition techniquesTheory, the author wants to be able to discover Smetana’s music characteristics;Thirdly, through the analysis of the influence of Smetana on the development ofCzech folk music, the author will be able to form a reflection on the development ofcurrent Chinese symphonic poem music.
