Culture such as lifestyle,mode of thinking,values and ethics affect language communication.The study and life of foreign students in China are inevitably influenced by this culture.Due to the lack of knowledge about the cultural background of a certain word or sentence,misunderstandings may occur.The culture that directly affects communication is the first thing that foreign students of primary Chinese level are exposed to,and communication barriers will inevitably occur.Therefore,understanding and mastering the communicative culture is of great significance to the primary stage of teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages.This paper mainly probes into the teaching content selection and teaching of communicative culture in cultural courses at the primary stage,and selects the content suitable for the teaching of communicative culture in cultural courses by analyzing the international curriculum for Chinese language education(revised version)and Chinese teaching materials.First of all,under the guidance of the international curriculum for Chinese language education(revised version),the objectives and Content Description of Level 1 to Level 3,teaching topics and content Suggestions are sorted out,and the teaching contents of communicative culture at the initial stage in the curriculum are clarified.Then,under the guidance of the teaching principle of structure-functional-culture,the communicative cultural items in Chinese textbooks for foreign students are classified and analyzed.Based on the classification of communicative culture in this paper designed by previous studies,the communicative cultural items presented in Chinese teaching materials are extracted and analyzed.Then,within the curriculum system of foreign students in Zhengzhou No.47 Middle School,the communicative cultural content suitable for the cultural courses of foreign students in the primary stage of Zhengzhou No.47 Middle School is finally selected,which is divided into two parts: the cultural course and the extracurricular part.Finally,the teaching design example of the communicative cultural teaching content in the cultural course is presented.In this way,the teaching content of cultural courses can be clarified and the communicative competence of foreign students can be cultivated.In order to promote the practical development of teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages and complete the mission of promoting Chinese language and spreading Chinese culture.
