The "Journey to the West",one of the "Four Great Books" of the Ming Dynasty,has undergone a long evolution.From the Tang Dynasty to the liddle of the Ming Dynasty,it has formed literati notes,novels.operas,storytelling.treasures,Pinghua,and stories.Wait for a variety of styles in parallel.The various genres and art forms of the "Journey to the West" are used for mutual exchange and reference,and are widely circulated amone the upper literati and the folk.Based on various art forms such as folk storytelling and Zaju performances,the Journey to the West is actively used in the narrative process to make the Journey to the West a strong folk narrative.The novel integrates the ancient mythological traditions into the works,creating a magical and magniticent magical world.With the historical historical events in the history of Xuanzang Xitian,the descendants continued to add to their leaves.In the process,a large number of folk legends were included in the story.Under the participation of folk storytellers and opera performances,a large number of folk stories circulated by folks have been introduced into the story.The common motifs,story types and the"three-fold" narrative structure in folk stories have influenced the creation of the novel.The author of "Journey to the West" created a chapter-retro-fiction with a combination of rhyme and sorrow with his bold imagination,vivid and interesting plot,strong comedy color and entertainlent spirit,and won the love of the majority of young people,which all benefited from The nourishment of folk literature.This article will study the relationship between Journey to the West and folk literature from three aspects:mythology,folklore and folktales:The first chapter uses the mythical motif as the entry point,mainly referring to the book "Chinese Mystery Motif Type Index" edited by Yang Lihui and Zhang Chengfu.The mythical motifs in The Journey to the West are divided into three categories:image,plot,and situational motif.The second chapter takes folklore as a reference.On the one hand,it combs the legends of the fainr tales from the Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism,and the folk beliefs.On the other hand,it focuses on the stories and legends in the "Da Tang Western Regions" and focuses on the novels.The text follows the legend of its local scenery.The third chapter focuses on the story of the classics,analyzes the motifs,types and rheology of the folk stories used by the authors,and summarizes the folk narrative features of the novels.
