The book New Songs from a Jade Terrace was written in about 545 AD.According to the legend,the Emperor Xiao Gang asked Xu Ling to complete it.On the basis of Mu Ke hong's statistics,there are 807 poems from 105 poets in Six Dynasties.It was the third collection of poems after the Book of Songs and The Odes of Ch'u.It Inherited the Book of Songs and laid the foundation of Tang dynasty poetry anthology.It pioneered the theme of woman's research and the pursuit of romantic love,which had far-reaching influence in the history of Chinese poetry.It is that the best choice to study the palace poetry.The book is also known as the "special selection of the topic of the history of Chinese literature."
