Since 1989, after the major film studios separatist disintegration pattern, Japanese film industry in the recession continued groping. During this historical situation, number of outstanding Japanese female director breakthrough from the Japanese film industry’s surrounded. Representatives are Naomi Kawase, Miwa Nishikawa, Satoko Yokohama, Yuki Tanada, Mipo Oh, Naoko Ogigami, Momoko Ando, Nami Iguchi and so on. Although the forces of their film creation are limited, but because of their gender awareness and gender experience unlike male director, making their films often with a different kind of perspective and expression, convey and flaunt a unique consciousness and life experience. Female directors and female films inject a breath of fresh air for Japanese film industry, so become a landscape in Japanese film cultural ecology which can not be ignored.Based feminist film criticism theory as the foundation for the integrated use of narratology. analysis of the spirit of cultural research studies, and the subjects of research methods, with creative background, theme implication, image construction, narrative strategy, study on director Naomi Kawase of the paper is divided into five chapters as a fulcrum, tries to present a relatively complete Japanese female film since 1989. analysis of the female version of expression and gender narration, discusses how to build a women’s respect for women will with women’s self-help to gender equality and harmonious dialogue order film language, thereby eliminating the male to female language film in the alienation of women return to the main finding the necessary means. Hoping to discover the cultural and artistic value from their film creation, and try to give some theory views to the development of the female film.
