Study On The Activation Of Cultural Heritage Resources In The Tourism Development Of The Dayang Ancient Town

With the fast pace of people’s life,traditional village tourism has become the first choice for many urban people.The Dayang Ancient Town is a typical ancient architectural village in the Song,Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties in the traditional villages of southeast Shanxi.The existing tangible cultural heritage,such as large-scale traditional dwellings,well-preserved temples and pavilions,and intangible cultural heritage resources,such as historical stories,traditional handicrafts and folk customs,are typical objects representing material and spiritual cultures in southeastern Shanxi.This paper focuses on the activation and utilization of cultural heritage resources in the tourism development of traditional villages.It systematically sorts out the cultural heritage resources of Dayang Ancient Town by means of on-the-spot investigation,and references to relevant literature,interviews and questionnaires,and so on.On this basis,this paper analyzes the activation of cultural heritage resources in Dayang Ancient Town in terms of material,cultural,market and people,which is supplemented by a quantitative study from the perspective of tourists,and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures from the aspects of resources combing,cultural excavation,mode utilization and sustainable development.The full text is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,including the research background,and significance,the domestic and foreign research situation,the related theory and the concept of cultural heritage activation,and the ASEB grid analysis theory.The background is to put forward the starting point of this paper from three aspects: the development characteristics of traditional villages in southeast Shanxi,the activation of cultural heritage and the theoretical significance of its practice.The second part is about the type and distribution of the cultural heritage resources in Dayang Ancient Town,which uses the field survey method to sort out the resources in and around in Dayang Ancient Town.In the third part,I carried on the qualitative and quantitative analysis combined with the present situation of the utilization of the cultural heritage resources in Dayang Ancient Town and the questionnaire investigation and in-depth interview of the tourists’ understanding of the cultural heritage in Dayang Ancient Town.The problems of the cultural heritage resource activation in the tourism development in Dayang Ancient Town are obtained.In the fourth part,according to the actual situation of tourism development in Dayang Ancient Town and the related theories of cultural heritage resource activation,the paper probes into the path of the tourism cultural heritage resource activation in Dayang Ancient Town and its in-depth discussion.The fifth part is the conclusion.Through the case of the activation and utilization of cultural heritage resources in Dayang Ancient Town,and in the light of the actual situation of cultural heritage in southeast Shanxi,this paper provides some reference for the tourism development and utilization of cultural heritage in other areas of southeast Shanxi,so as to realize the cultural heritage resources better activation and utilization and sustainable development of tourism development.
