Research On The Protection And Activation Of Chongqing Fengsheng Ancient Town Based On Cultural Gene Theory

Cultural genes are the "root" and "soul" of the Chinese nation,and the source of power for the inheritance of Chinese excellent culture.Famous historical and cultural towns are the "gene treasure house" of Chinese civilization,containing rich and profound historical culture,and a living carrier for inheriting Chinese historical context.However,under the influence and interference of multiple external factors,the survival of historical and cultural towns is worrying,their own cultural connotations are insufficiently explored,and the inheritance of regional culture is seriously hindered.Therefore,historical and cultural towns must not only pay attention to protection,but also activate and develop them in accordance with the changes of the times.Only by digging and extracting cultural genes,accurately mastering their historical memories and activating cultural genes,can historical and cultural towns be here.Unique in the unpredictable environment,forever to maintain youth and vitality,can better inherit the historical context and continue the cultural genes.The research object of this paper is Fengsheng Ancient Town,as an important millennium-year-old dry dock in Chongqing.Its historical and cultural heritage is profound,its own characteristics are obvious,and it has historical and cultural value that cannot be ignored.However,Fengsheng Ancient Town still has some problems in its protection and development.Based on the theory of cultural genes,this article selects Chongqing Fengsheng Ancient Town as the research object.First of all,from the connotation,characteristics,function,classification and method of cultural gene theory,analyze the connotation of cultural gene carrier in historical and cultural towns,and summarize the important significance of cultural gene in the protection and development of historical and cultural towns.Secondly,combined with the previous theoretical foundation and documentation,through field investigation and questionnaire survey on the historical and cultural resources of Fengsheng Ancient Town,the collected historical and cultural resources are abstractly analyzed,and the history is analyzed from both material cultural genes and non-material cultural genes.The culturally famous towns are rich in cultural genes,and the cultural gene map of the ancient towns in Fengsheng will be constructed.Finally,it analyzes the current situation of protection and development of Fengsheng Ancient Town,and proposes corresponding protection and activation development models and strategies respectively.The research results show that:(1)After analysis,it is found that the material cultural genes constituting the cultural gene map of Fengsheng Ancient Town mainly include street culture,architectural culture,dry dock culture,and defense culture;intangible cultural genes include Fengshui culture,loyalty organization,folk culture,Immigration culture,food culture,longevity culture,filial piety culture,family culture,traditional skills,religious beliefs.(2)At present,the protection of Fengsheng ancient town has the decline of cultural gene carriers;insufficient cultural gene excavation and display;cultural gene inheritance and dating dilemma;improper protection of cultural genes;lack of vitality of carriers and weakened functions in development;inadequate gene connection and poor development Coordination;weak overall activation,lagging tourism development;the problem of loss of indigenous people.(3)In response to these problems,this article proposes a combination of point,line and facet protection of cultural gene carriers in terms of protection;deep excavation,gene implantation;protection of genes,cultural heritage;scientific mechanisms,and escort strategies.In terms of development,it proposes strategies for activating carriers and enhancing functions;gene fusion to improve conditions;activating genes and combining culture and travel;retaining the aborigines and recreating life scenes.It is hoped that through the analysis of the cultural genes of the ancient town of Fengsheng,the exploration of protection and activation development strategies,the continuation of the historical context,and the promotion of sustainable development,it can provide a reference for the protection and activation of the ancient town of Fengsheng and other similar historical and cultural towns.
