Thsi paper takes the "new note novels" that emerged in 1980s as the research object, firstly,it sorts out the background of it's rise, the origin of naing and the space of criticism that was subsequently created. Then,on the basis of the researches of the column planning, the selection of the books, and the case of the writer's creation, which is back to the literary history scene, explores the significance of the literary history of new note novels. This paper believes that the previous research is limited by the general understanding of the concept of "new note novels",ignoring the new note novels is not only subject to the literary consciousness in the new era,but also the complexity of the development of the literature in the new era in terms of theme and style.Only on the basis of full understanding of this complexity, summing up the specific creative practice experience of new note novels, can we explore more important issues such as the creative transformation of classical literature resources in contemporary Chinese literature writing and research. The introduction part explains the reasons for choosing the title and research review, pointing out that the current research on the new note novels mainly focuses on the study of its artistic features, ignoring the related literary history problems hidden behind the naming of new note novels. In addition,Distinguish and define the meaning of relevant important concepts involved in the thesis-"note","note novels" and "new note novels".The main body of this paper is divided into four chapters:Chapter one is to sort out the process of the rise of new note novels.First of all, traces the background of the rise of new note novels, that is,the conscious consciousness of the old generation of writers, the "root-seeking fever" and "inward turning" continued to heat up and ferment in the 1980s literature field. On this basis, young critics Lin Yan and Li Qingxi explicitly invented the concept of "new note novels" in 1986.Then,this chapter attempts to analyze the heated discussion around the concept in the critical world, and then points out how the discussion of the theoretical level of the new note novels has advanced the thinking of the literature in the new era,how the consensus and differences in the discussion reflect the issues that need to be further clarified behind the concept naming.Chapter two takes the "New World Theory" column that launched by Nanjing "Yuhua"magazine in 1987.Exploring how the "New World Theory" that emerged after the naming of the new note novels responded to the development of literature in the new era.First of all,by Ye Zhicheng's planning of the column pointing out that the "New World Theory" within the scope of the new note novels has had a major impact in the mid-to-late 1980s.More because the theme is closely related to the literary trend. Then, based on the column content, the "scar literature" is used as a reference to explain how to use the classical style of the writer's works, and continue to advance and break through the theme of "scar literature",and with the "Shi Shuo Xin Yu" as a reference, analyze the unique satirical art of "New World Theory".The third chapter is based on the selection of several new note novels that have appeared in the 1980s and 1990s.From the editors' focus on the selection of "stylistic consciousness",it is found that the selection of the text continues the "stylistic innovation"perspective and continues to promote the development of literature in the new era in the form of "formal revolution";How the wide range of topics in the selection and their close connection with the literary trends of the 1980s reflect the "new note novels" is not limited to the literary history significance at the stylistic level. This chapter will combine the works of specific writers in the selection to explore how the new note novels have expanded and advanced the "scar-reflection" literature, the "reform literature",the local customs literature, the root-seeking literature trend and the genre creation. The fourth chapter focuses on the representative writer of the new note novels,Lin Jinlan,by analyzing his creative transformation of classical literature resources, and exploring the limitations of the "new note novels" criticism in the 1980s when explaining the specific creative practice.First of all,on the basis of a close reading of the series of texts of Lin Jinlan's "Ai deng Bridge Customs",founds his reference to and transformation of many classical traditional resources such as "note style" and"legendary style";Then in the dialogue with relevant theoretical criticism,if we want to continue to highlight the significance of the literary history of the new note novels,we should start from the writer's unique ideology and art system to activate the criticism of the "new note novels" category for the specific experience enligtenment of creation. The conclusion part summarizes the important value and significance of the new note novels to the literary history of the new era,and makes an expansive discussion on the issue of the inheritance of classical resources related to the thesis.
