This paper studies Yang wanlifs poetry style from the perspective of slang words. It is an interdisciplinary and comprehensive study to analyze the characteristics of literature with linguistic knowledge. The body of the article consists of four parts. In the introduction, the author defines the concept of slang words:The words appeared before the song dynasty or in the song dynasty, which were used by Yang Wanli in his poems with the same meaning,or the slang words of the previous generations recorded in the classics, are regarded as the slang words referred to in this paper, including dialects, colloquial words, idioms and proverbs.Main methods of scearching for slang words are under the help of the research works of ancient and modem slang words, the book collection of slang words and the meaning of" Cheng Zhai's style M in slang words one by one, compares, compiled 143 colloquial words in the form of tables listed in appendix I,make the generation or the generation before the poet's case with the Cheng Zhai "colloquial words in case and Chen together,in order to analysis using slang words, inheritance and innovation in the" Cheng Zhai "style of plays a key role. There are a lot of research achievements about Yang Wanli's poems and prose. The review part classifies the research of domestic scholars from six aspects, including creation stage, poetry origin, poetry genre, poetry style, poetry influence and poetry language, and briefly introduces the research achievements of overseas scholars. The first chapter discusses the influence of zen on poetic expressions in the tang and song dynasties, and emphatically introduces the characteristics of Su Shi and Huang Tingjian in the song dynasty. In order to make their doctrines understood and accepted by the lower believers, buddhist monks used the spoken language of the tang and song dynasties to preach the doctrines.Zen masters, aiming to attract the attention of scholar-officials to zen, paid great attention to the literary talent in deng-lu and often wrote vernacular poems to express the realm of zen enlightenment.Under the influence of zen Buddhism, the poets of the song dynasty pursued "vulgarity as elegance",sought new ideas in words and expressions, and sought poetic materials in daily life.Huang Tingjian's poems contain the strong zen thought, which shows the alienation from the realistic politics. In his poems,he often USES the original sentences of zen works or directly USES the zen vocabulary.Su Shi mastered the colloquial words applicable to different occasions in different regions. He skillfully combined them in pairs and used them in antithesis to achieve ironic or humorous expression effect. The second chapter is the comment on the use of colloquial expressions in tang and song poems.Later poeticists have concluded that proverbs come from social life. When they trace the origin of slang words, they can mostly find use cases from the poems and texts of the tang dynasty or before and trace the social and cultural background of the previous generation.Du Fu's use of colloquial expressions in his poems is very ancient, and poeticists believe that although later poets imitate Du Fu's use of colloquial expressions in his poems, they often pay no attention to their disadvantages.Slang words have dialect pronunciation and semantics different from those of poets.Poetry critics also have some comments on Su Shi and Huang Tingjian's use of colloquial words:Su Shi and Huang Tingjian in song dynasty are the typical representatives of using colloquial words in poetry, and later poetry critics have more comments on them, especially Su Shi.Poetry critics believe that Su Shi's choice of colloquial words shows the characteristics of integrating northern and southern dialects and opening up different occasions. The reversed colloquial words in Su,Huang and later poetry are often the reflection of distorted social reality.Su Shi often quoted proverbs into poetry, but evaluation of Yuan Zhen and Bai Juyi light vulgar;Huang Tingjian believed that the vulgar people altered the original work and mixed slang in it,which damaged the beauty of the original work, but he preferred to use slang. This contradiction between words and deeds caused the thinking of the poetry critics. The third chapter traces the dynasty source of the colloquial sayings in the collection of Cheng Zhai and classifies 143 slang sayings. The slang words in Cheng Zhai9s poetry anthology can be divided into two categories. One is the colloquial words used by the common people in daily life in the song dynasty, involving the characteristic dialects of different regions.Among them are the colloquial sayings Yang Wanli self-annotated in his poems. He consciously recorded the local dialects in the book. These colloquial sayings which had not been used by predecessors or whose meaning was not detailed enough are precious literature materials in his documentary poems.Yang Wanli did not stick to the original meaning of dialects and sometimes expanded their meaning when he used song dialect in his poems.Compared with the colloquial expressions in other classical literature of the song dynasty,Yang Wanli could often use them in poems instead of letters, changing the object of the colloquial expressions, changing the object from people to things, and adding a lively atmosphere.Yang Wanli learned the meaning of the slang words of the previous dynasties through literature materials and practiced them frequently in his works, which is a way of"taking the old as the new".The colloquial words "tailor" and "touch" in the literature of the pre-qin period were used by Yang Wanli to describe the aesthetic experience in creation and appreciation. In the colloquial words of the han,wei and six dynasties, appellation took up a large proportion.Among them, the word "clapping" is in the rhythm point similar to the structure of the previous poetry, while "worldly affairs" highlights Yang Wanli's intentional deviation from the semantics of the former poetry.Yang wanli imitated the use cases of colloquial words with different parts of speech in sui, tang and five dynasties, and the meaning and usage of the words were the same as those in tang dynasty. The fourth chapter summarizes Yang Wanli's new development in the use of colloquial words and briefly describes the criticism or praise of Cheng Zhai,s poetic style by the poetry critics from the song dynasty to the qing dynasty.Yang Wanli's slang words have a lively atmosphere of personification, turning quietness into movement. He prefers to use the secular or literal meaning of zen language, which allows zen words to leave the buddhist context and return to real life.Due to Yang Wanlifs optimistic nature, the original derogatory slang words often have a sense of humor. He used the colloquial words such as "exhort" more carefully and seldom used the colloquial words with feminine color such as "girr'.There are different opinions on the use of colloquial words in Cheng Zhai's poetry anthology. Some critics of the qing dynasty thought the works of Cheng Zhai were vulgar and trivial. But the copies of Zhang Zi,Jiang Kui,Yan Yu and-Liu Kezhuang in the song dynasty, are the style of the legacy of compose words to praise,Yuan Hongdao in the ming dynasty,Yuan Mei,Guo Lin in the qing dynasty, and others are all followed the compose in creation. The conclusion part explains the reasons for the popularization of song poetry from the perspective of the transformation theory of tang and song dynasties, summarizes again the categories of colloquial words in Yang Wanli's poems, analyzes the shortcomings of this paper, and puts forward the direction for further research.
