From the point of view of junior high school students' English learning process and effect,learning motivation is an important factor.Learning motivation has a direct impact on student motivation,learning outcomes,and persistence.After the new curriculum reform,many teachers have realized that the traditional indoctrination education model cannot meet the requirements of the times,so trying to build a democratized English curriculum teaching model.However,in this mode,students usually do not understand classroom content after class.The main reason is that junior high school,many students are just in contact with English,so teachers only pay attention to formal teaching,and ignore the substantive objectives of teaching methods will make students confused,unable to accurately grasp the core content of teachers.Teachers need to adhering to the subjective education concept of students,to explore the connotation of curriculum reform,to stimulate students to carry out the enthusiasm of self-learning.This article adopts the methods of literature research and questionnaire survey,systematically expounds the background and significance of the research and the research situation at home and abroad.Starting from the definition of motivation and learning motivation,the study motivation is divided into internal motivation and external motivation,inclusive learning motivation and instrumental learning motivation,and it also includes the theory of hierarchy of needs,motivation attribution theory,self-efficacy theory and motivation reduction theory.Detailed analysis.The survey was conducted on the current situation of junior high school students in the urban-rural fringe.The research target was M middle school junior high school students in the urban-rural area.The research tools used the "Chinese minority students' English learning questionnaire" and the "English learning for junior high school students".The Questionnaire on Decline of Motivation,and the analysis of the data.Starting from the basic information,motivation of English learning,and the influence factors of English learning motivation,this paper analyzes the status quo of the cultivation of English learning motivation of junior high school students in the urban-rural area.Based on the researchers' first-line teaching experience,this paper expounds the training strategies for junior high school students' English learning motivation from the aspects of strengthening the home-school linkage,cooperating with the street culture station,creating a harmonious teacher-student relationship,grading requirements,and forming students' appropriate expectation.
