Research On Tsong-kha-pa's Thought On Discipline

Tsong-kha-pa is the founder of the Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism.His religious rectification in Tibet in 1395 not only regulated the practice of Buddhist monks and Dharma,but also cleared up the chaos of sect Buddhism and clearly stated that the commandments were the foundation of all Dharma practice is the guarantee of the long-term residence of the Vatican.He proposed that Mahayana precepts should be based on Theravada precepts,and that the Pratimoksha is contained in the Bodhisattva precepts.At the same time,he integrated the contents of the Bodhisattva precepts into the practice of the three Kind of way of practicing asceticism,and used the precepts of the Bodhisattva to master the three commandments,so that pay equal attention to precepts and practices.And learn the Exoteric Buddhism first,then learn the Esoteric Buddhism.During the Tsong-kha?pa period,the buddhist circle in Tibetan areas was confused in practice,with both monks and common customs not being distinguished,and the precepts were seriously neglected.In this regard,Tsong-kha-pa,with its own strong Buddhist knowledge,supported by the support of the Pamuzhuba regime,through religious rectification,not only stated the book,but also clarified the Dharma practice,and re-establish the important position of the precepts with the Bhikshu Precepts and the Bodhisattva precepts as the core.He believed that the Five Precepts and the Ten Good are the basis of all the precepts,and the Bhikshu Precepts is a prerequisite for the nonks to stop into the Buddhism.As a symbol of the Mahayana Precepts to quit perturbation law instrument,taken good ring and benefit sentient beings as the main content,anyone could hold,and on its relationship with Pratimoksha,Tsong-kha-pa don't think the Bodhisattva precepts based on Pratimoksha.However,in terms of theory,it is the most perfect way to receive the Bodhisattva precepts after receiving the Pratimoksha.At the same time,the precept pays more attention to the grasp of "heart".In addition,Tsong-kha-pa's thought of disciplin was also reflected in the practice of the three sages:The Corporal Road is focused on stopping evil,and it is mainly based on the ten bad;the Sergeant Road emphasizes doing good,and doing all good is the main;the Sergeant Road is interested in all sentient beings,mainly practicing six degrees and four photographs.The content of the commandments of the Corporal Road and the Sergeant's Road is similar to that of the Pratimoksha,both of them are intended to don't harm to others;the precepts of the Sergeant's Road are similar to those of the Bodhisattva precepts,to practice all the good dharma widely.His thought of discipline not only effectively adjusted the application of the great and small vehicle precepts,but also based on the precepts and emphasized both precepts and practices,which laid a solid foundation for the establishment and development of the later Gelugpa sect.
