A Multi-angel Research On The Phonological Modal Particle�la(?)�

The modal particles in Chinese have undergone a long process of development and evolution.The linguistic community has also done a lot of research on it,and the results are quite fruitful.However,the meaning of modal words is ambiguous and its usage is flexible.The modal particles have always been difficult for scholars to understand and study.Although moderm Chinese modal particles are used frequently,its research is not deep enough,especially the phonological modal words.This paper selects the typical phonological modal particle�la(?)" which has the high degree of recognition and frequency of use as the research object,mainly discusses the usage,historical evolution,syntactic features,tone type and pragmatic function.The paper contains five chapters including the following aspects:The first chapter is introduction,briefly introduces the reasons of research object,research significance,research status and research methods,and explain the main sources of corpus.The second chapter analyzes the use of the modal particle�la(?)�,including the media distribution and syntactic distribution.In the distribution of media,we analyze the use of the modal particle�la(?)�from the four aspects of newspapers and periodicals,literary works,film and television programs and online language,and analyze the characteristics of�la(?)�in each media to show the extensiveness and diversity of the use of�la(?)�.At the same time,the chapter also examines the syntactic distribution of�la(?)�.�la(?)�can be used at the end of the sentence or in the sentence,and at the end is usual.The third chapter analyzes the tone type and pragmatic function of the modal particle�la(?)�.The modal particle�la(?)�can appear in the four mood types of sentences:declarative,imperative,exclamatory and questioning mood.The chapter analyzes the tone characteristics of used in various sentences,also compares the difference between�la(?)�and common modal particles,the modal particle�le(?)��a(?)��le a(??)�in each sentence.In addition,we discuss the pragmatic functions of�ia(?)�one by one from four aspects of sentence function:ending sentence function,soothing tone,highlighting emotion and interactive function.The fourth chapter examines the use of the modal particle�le(?)��a(?)�and the formation process of the modal particle�la(?)�.The chapter analyzes the formation trajectory of�la(?)�from the perspective of diachronic time and examines the chord source�le(?)��a(?)�,the use of�le a(??)�in the ancient Chinese,the formation trajectory of�la(?)�.It also summarizes conditions,causes and modal phonological rules of the phonological modal particle�la(?)��This chapter summarizes the modal particle�la(?)�in two ways:one is the chorus of�le(?)�and�a(?)�,and the other is the evolution of the phonological modal particle�la(?)�,which is used for enumeration.The last chapter is the remainder.This part briefly analyzes the use of�la(?)�with other modal particles,and study the use of the form�le la(??)��de la(??)��la a(??)��la ba(??)��to ma(??)�.At last,we summarize the viewpoint of this article,analyzes the innovation and deficiencies.
