| As a volunteer Chinese teacher,the author has been teaching Chinese for one year at Rewi Alley Chinese School in Christchurch,New Zealand.The author has a comprehensive understanding of the Chinese teaching situation in this school,local primary and secondary schools and local Confucius Institute.In this survey,the authhor found that New Zealand is very short of Chinese teachers,the number of native Chinese teachers is not large,the teaching level needs to be improved,and the training needs are very urgent.Teachers are one of the most important factors affecting the development of Chinese international education.This paper expounds and analyses the current teaching situation of Rewi Alley Chinese School and the training situation of native Chinese teachers.According to the actual needs of native Chinese teachers,on the basis of the existing foundation,it proposes to construct a modular Chinese teacher training system which uses five training modes and covers six training contents,in order to address the needs and training of Chinese teachers in New Zealand.It is believed that through systematic training,the quality of Chinese teaching in New Zealand can be improved,the localization of Chinese teachers can be realized,and finally the international promotion of Chinese can be realized.This article mainly includes four parts.The first part mainly expounds the background and significance of the selected topic,and summarizes the current academic research on Chinese language education and Chinese language teacher training in New Zealand,and expounds the main research methods.The second part introduces the basic situation of New Zealand language education,introduces the teaching background,operation mode,teachers,teaching materials,students,etc.We put forward some suggestions and opinions on the problems existing in Chinese teaching at the Rewi Alley Chinese School.The third part analyzes the training needs of local Chinese teachers.This paper gives a general introduction to the training of teachers at the Rewi Alley Chinese School,local teachers,and Chinese teachers in primary and secondary schools.The fourth part puts forward relevant suggestions for the training of native Chinese teachers in New Zealand.We believe that we can build a modular training system.And analyzed its feasibility,pointing out its positive role in improving the quality of Chinese education.Finally,We summarized this paper. |
