Immersive art experience exhibition is a new type of exhibition emerging in recent years.It is also a popular kind of art exhibition at home and abroad.Exhibition is a combination of plastic arts,visual arts,new media arts and interactive arts.In this paper,immersive exhibition is placed in the field of visual culture research.From the perspective of visual mode,this paper applies the research method of visual culture to study the subject identity conversion,artistic experience and perceptual experience of the audience in immersive exhibitions.The thesis is based on exhibition cases and audience interviews.The first chapter sorts out the visual environment of art exhibitions and analyzes the digitalization experience of museum exhibitions and art exhibitions in the context of visual culture.The development of digital technology provides technical support for the new exhibition forms,changing the material environment of exhibitions.The second chapter focuses on the visual guidance of virtual images and media.In the exhibition,images,media and interfaces constitute virtual images,which have a new way of viewing and visual interpretation.New media create new visual images and become an important way to guide people into the immersive environment,while the exhibition interface brings new visual experience.The third chapter discusses the relationship between the space in traditional museum,the space in art history and the space in today's immersive exhibition.Virtual images constitute the illusion space in the exhibition.Virtual images in the immersive exhibition are no longer the pure digital products,but the products of the combination of art and technology.These products have special aesthetic experience,which have formed unique aesthetic characteristics to bring different visual experience and artistic experience to the audience.The fourth chapter proposes that the main identity of the audience has changed in the immersive exhibition.This is because in traditional museums,audiences have their own choices when viewing,while immersive exhibitions arerestricted by privacy.The way of viewing is changed from active to passive,with the change of identity bringing different perceptual experience,which leads a result of that the visual focus is changed into the participation of all senses.The final conclusion of this paper is that the immersive art exhibition is not a kind of exhibition driven by technology.They have their own unique aesthetic characteristics and exhibition systems,which forms a new visual mode of exhibition.Immersive art exhibitions have their own artistic and cultural characteristics,bringing people philosophical thinking and spiritual pleasure.which blurs the boundary between people and artistic works,and changes the main identity of the audience.In essence,immersive art exhibitions are open,timely,multi-dimensional art exhibitions that rely on the audience and the exhibition environment.At the same time,immersive exhibitions have become a supplement to traditional museum exhibition.Its open,interactive and interesting features can attract the public to visit,arouse their interest in art,increase the scope of aesthetic education,and have a unique effect on the popularization of art education.Museums should take the initiative to introduce new forms of exhibitions,and make use of the characteristics of such exhibitions to bring a more comprehensive and rich viewing experience to the audience.
