Nowadays,interpreting service plays an important role in international communications,cultural transmissions and other international activities.This report mainly explores the difficulties in the project interpreting and the corresponding solutions.Through the exploration of the difficulties the author encountered in the project interpreting and the adoption of appropriate interpreting strategies,the author hopes that this study could make a reference for her and her peers' future interpreting practices.The project selected by the author is a discussion under the theme of energy innovation.In the process of interpreting this project,slangs,fragmented sentences,redundancy and logic fuzziness are major challenges faced by the author.These difficulties make a higher requirement for the author's interpreting capability and flexibility.Under the guidance of relevance theory,some corresponding solutions are put forward.The solutions proposed by the author include paraphrasing,addition,omission and explication.A better interpreting text and communication between the speaker and the audience can be achieved by adopting these solutions.This report makes a combination of theory and practice.The whole process enables the author to accumulate experience and lessons which can guide her and other interpreting learners' further practices.
