Memetics as a new theory, which is based on Darwin's evolutionary viewpoints, explains the phenomena of sociocultural spread. And its propagation mechanism is on imitation. So,those sociocultural phenomena, which could be recognized and accepted by value of human communities, will be imitated or mimicked each other among humans or among generations, and spread widely.Hence, lingual memes will have to imitate or “copy” each other to make themselves spread widely, language being an important part of sociocultural phenomena. The author assumes that the teaching mode of imitation and reproduction, whose process includes assimilation, maintain, presentation and propagation, especially strong memes, will lead up to the output of correct voice and statement, even proficiency of communicative conversation. The paper adopted the Qualitative and quantitative methods together to make half-a-year-old audio-visual experimental study on feasibility in training students' listening and speaking skills of vocational students. In a year of this drill, the researcher found that the students' voice and spoken English scores improved clearly, and the listening and speaking competences increased very well, too.Above all,the author feels that: the teaching of listening and speaking in English should be unitized and the competences of listening and speaking should not, yet, respectively been practiced in different points, according to that, during the period of memetic transmission, assimilation, maintaining, presentation and transmission of the audio-visual module memes are successive and inseparable;the lingual module memes which fit for the interests and features of students and studying laws, will be easier to be accepted and mastered.
