Study On The Protection And Utilization Of Du Ling,Emperor Xuan Of Han Dynasty

Great relics contain rich historic information and cultural connotations.As the main body and typical example of five-thousand-year splendid civilization history of China,great ruins are not only characterized with profound historic and cultural elements,but also found with unique environmental landscape and cultural tourism resources.In this paper,Duling Mausoleum,where Emperor Xuan of Western Han(Liu Xun)was buried,is taken as the research object.Duling Mausoleum is of significant historical value,and is the closest strategically-located emperor's mausoleum of Western Han to Xi'an downtown.After Qujiang New District was expanded,Duling Mausoleum became an integral part of Qujiang New District Phase ?Project,and its preservation and utilization are thus closely related to the development of Qujiang New District.Combining with regional development,Duling Mausoleum is endowed with more diverse social values and urban functions.Today,in order to protect the relics of Duling Mausoleum,it is necessary for us to reexamine the meaning of Duling Mausoleum to the development of Qujiang New District Phase ? Project,fully discover the historic values and cultural connotations of Duling Mausoleum,and give full play to the role of Duling Mausoleum in enhancing the new image of Xi'an and establishing a unique traditional Chinese cultural benchmark.From the perspective of composition and value of relics,the preservation status,environmental status and industrial development status of Duling Mausoleum are analyzed,and it is found that Duling Mausoleum is plagued by major problems including chaotic landscape,single display and utilization ways,insufficient interpretation of cultural connotations,and poor development of cultural tourism;learning from the Jinsha Mode that rejuvenates regional development by constructing a heritage park and the Wuxi Mode that coordinates between three kinds of resources including land,culture and ecology,the concept of venue spirit is introduced,and the venue spirit connotations of great relics and relevant creation methods are explained.Based on the above studies,a new mode of Chinese culture-themed Duling Mausoleum National Archaeological Site Park is proposed for the preservation of Duling Mausoleumand the integrated development of Qujiang New District Phase ?Project.The core part of this Mode lies in the shaping of venue spirit of Duling Mausoleum through greening,cultural landscaping,touring line organization and cultural tourism activity construction.In the meantime,the Park is segmented into four display areas from the macro level to highlight the scientific and research,education,display and tourism and ecological protection features of Duling Mausoleum National Archaeological Site Park.This Mode not only effectively protects the historical and cultural atmospheres of Duling Mausoleum,but also combines with the development of Qujiang New District Phase ?Project so as to achieve the modernized expression of historic value of Duling Mausoleum,promote the integration of Duling Mausoleum with a new look into Qujiang New District and realize the win-win situation of heritage protection and regional rejuvenation.
