The Influence Of Linguistic Representation On Individual Impulsivity

This study mainly discusses the discrimination,prediction and intervention of linguistic representation on college students' individual impulsivity,as well as the mediating effect of coping style and rumination.Research one and research two selected 4262 college students as subjects,using the Barratt Impulsivity Scale,the Rumination Thinking scale,Simple Coping Style Scale and language text writing practice test,understand language representation and discriminant for the forecast of impulsivity,and coping styles and ruminate on the intermediary role;A total of 120 subjects were selected for the intergroup pretest and posttest intervention experiment to explore the effect of linguistic representation intervention on impulsivity.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The noun frequency of subjects can predict individual rumination,coping style and impulsivity level.Verb frequency can predict individual coping style and impulsive level.(2)Coping style and rumination play an intermediary role in the path of linguistic representation and impulsivity.The mediating variables of coping style and rumination have different effects on linguistic representation and impulsivity.It is observed that rumination plays a buffering role and coping style plays a promoting role through path coefficient symbols.(3)Individuals' coping style level and impulsivity level can be affected by the intervention of linguistic representation.Individuals who engage in the intervention of linguistic representation have significant changes in their coping style level and impulsivity level before and after the intervention,and the frequency of noun can affect the individual coping style and impulsivity level more than the frequency of verb.The level of rumination was affected by the intervention of linguistic representation,but gerund had no obvious superiority.The intervention of language representation in the positive situation was more effective for the subjects,and the individual psychological trait level changed significantly.
