Cooperation behavior is a series of social behaviors in which two several individuals voluntarily combine to achieve a common goal.As an important part of pro-social behavior, cooperative behavior accelerates children's social adaptation development.Researches show that parental satisfaction and coparenting have a significant impact on development of children's social abilities, but lack of further research on the cooperative behavior among firstborn children in two-child families.Besides, maternal satisfaction shows decline trend after the birth of second-child.In addition,“maternal gatekeeping” indicates that paternal coparenting is more susceptible to the maternal satisfaction. Therefore,in two-child families, how does maternal satisfaction affect paternal firstborn children's cooperative behavior through paternal coparenting and whether the sibling factors(sibling consistency and age-gap)are significant related in the above three aspects? In view of the previous researches and this study's purpose, screening 204 firstborn children aged 4-6 years at 4 kindergartens and their parents from “two-child” family as objects.Firstly, the study uses natural observation methods to analyze development characteristics of firstborn children's cooperation behavior, and its relation with sibling factor(age-gap and gender-consistency).Secondly,distributing questionnaire to their parents to explore the relation of sibling factors, firstborn children cooperation behavior with maternal marital satisfaction and paternal co-parenting,as well as verify paternal co-parenting whether mediating effect on the relationship between maternal marital satisfaction and cooperative behavior of firstborn children aged 4-6.Finally,this research conclusions are as follows:1.4~6 years Firstborn children's cooperation behavior of initiative, leadership, persistence and purposiveness and its total score exist significant age difference, but don't exist significant gender difference.2.4~6 years firstborn children's cooperation behavior has notable difference between sibling age-gap and gender consistency. The more significant sibling age gap is,the lower of firstborn children's cooperative initiative, purposiveness and total score are;In persistence, purposiveness and total score, firstborn children's score with same-gender sibling is higher than those with mixed-gender sibling.3.Sibling age-gap in maternal marital satisfaction and paternal co-parenting exist notable difference, while not exist gender consistency. The more prominent sibling age is,the higher maternal marital satisfaction and paternal integrity are, while the lower paternal disparagement, conflict and disciplinary is.4.Maternal marital satisfaction and paternal integrity positively predict 4~6 years firstborn children's cooperative behavior;Paternal co-parenting with integrity, disparagement, conflict and disciplinary has partly mediating role between maternal marital satisfaction and 4~6 years firstborn children's cooperative behavior. In summary, the research put the following specific operational family education recommendations to parents: Firstly, establish a good relationship between husband and wife, and create a harmonious and warm family atmosphere.Parents should negotiate on the basis of family assignments and use constructive solutions to resolve parenting conflicts.Secondly, father should actively participate in co-parenting and increase the continuity of participation in co-parenting.Finally,parents should make use of the important role of sibling factors in pro-social development such as cooperative behavior of first-child children. For example, parents should increase firstborn children's sense of participation in the life events, and strengthen the intimate interaction between the first child and their young sibling.
