One-hundred-buddhist-parables is written by the ancient India Sanghasna, and translated by the Southern Dynasty's Warlock Gunavrddhi. It's a Buddhist work describing the philosophy of Buddhism with a fable story, containing 4 volumes, and existing 98 stories by now.It is an important Buddhist scriptures in Dazheng-newly-renovated-tripitaka(Dazheng Zang).Dazheng Zang was published in 1923-1934 by Japan. At present,it is the most widely used Chinese Tripitaka in the world. It is mainly based on Goryeo Zang, and compiled with the reference to the Buddhist scriptures of the Song Dynasty,Yuan Dynasty,Ming Dynasty, the Gong, and other texts in Dunhuang,Sanskrit,Bali, and so on.This paper, focusing on the One-hundred-buddhist-parables text, rearranges the variations of Sixi Zang(???),Puning Zang(???)and Jinshan Zang(???)in the Dazheng Zang. And the variations of Gaoli Zang(???),Zifu Zang(???),Qisha Zang(???),Puning Zang(???),Southern Yongle Zang(???),Jinshan Zang(???),Qianlong Zang(???)in the Zhonghua Zang, together with variations related to the One-hundred-buddhist-parables in the Northern Yongle Zang(???)and Xinji Zang(???).It is the main task of this paper to make a comparative study of more than ten variations. At present, the academic community has made a lot of use of Dazheng Zang, but Dazheng Zang has not authenticated the variations that it records,so it is difficult for readers and researchers to read. Therefore,it is necessary for us to study and distinguish these variations, which is also the meaning and value of this paper. In addition, the study of variations of the One-hundred-buddhist-parables is also helpful to investigate the evolution of certain characters in Buddhist literature, which is valuable for the study of Chinese words, the compilation of Buddhist lexicon and the revision of large dictionaries.
