Research On The Xunjiansi In Hubei Province In Qing Dynasty

Xunjiansi system,took the essential social functions between the approximately one thousand years from the initial stage of Five Dynasties to the Qing dynasty.In the Qing dynasty,most of the Xunjiansi of Hubei province continued the Ming dynasty.In the whole period of Qing dynasty,Xunjiansi’s geographical distribution had been trended to reasonable and the social functions had been improved dramatically after several reformes,Xunjiansi has played the vitally important role on the strengthening the control of social bottom and enhancing the governance of social order,which are effecting continuously the governance of Hubei province nowadays.The thesis suggested the law and feature that local authorities how to control the social bottom in the Qing dynasty by the study,thereby providing the related experience to governance of social bottom in the contemporary China.The thesis summarize the status of the Xunjiansi from the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms(AD 907–960)to the Qing dynasty(AD 1644-1912),and reviewing the law of Xunjiansi in historical period on the longitudinal,which is primary analysis to the thesis.Classifying Xunjiansi Of Hubei province in Qing dynasty according to the difference of subjection,while studying on the assignment,inferior employers and salary,seat and departments.Taking the administrative districts of Hubei province in Qing dynasty as the study unit,the thesis studies the history of Xunjiansi in Hubei province.Analyzing its problems like establishment time,bases and geographical position,meanwhile,studying the its evaluation and geographical location according to the historical documents from Draft History of Qing,Qing Shilu and Hubei Tongzhi(in Qing dynasty).For the conclusion former,studyimg the laws on the establishment time and geographical distribution on the basis of conclusions above.Then,denoting the facts that,in the Qing dynasty,most of Xunjiansi of Hubei province had been established in the Ming dynasty,and its system had been reformed in the stages of Yongzheng and Qianlong.On the laws of geographical distribution,its majority were established in the east areas in Hubei province,namely Wuchang Fu,Hanyang Fu,Huangzhou Fu and De’an Fu in Qing dynasty,which illustrated that the relation between geographical position of Xunjiansi and situation of development in the social economy is plus correlation because of the remarkable advantages of eastareas in Hubei province on the landscape,agricultural acreage and population.According to case documents from Qing Shilu.Meanwhile,including: governance administrative districts,Civil administration of justice,water conservancy embankments,public security patrols and concurrent administration of post services,and further analyze the its effects on the strengthening control over bottom of society.
