With the rapid development of urbanization in China,the size of the migrant children is becoming larger than before.This group is facing the severe test and challenges not only in life area but also in psychological part,especially in their mental health status.However,the migrant children does not have to follow the developmental linear model of "disadvantaged--pressure--maladjustment",it can also develops in a curvilinear model of "disadvantaged--psychological resilience--good adaptation ".So,if we can intervene those children and train their positive mental characters before a variety of psychological and behavioral problems happen to them,it would not only assists them to utilize their own positive psychological quality in unfavorable situation,but also to help them adapt environment and grow healthily.This is not just the problem about migrant children,it is also a serious problem which can influence the social development.This study started with the perspective of psychological resilience,and utilizing "the Resilience Scale for Chinese Adolescent,RSCA" questionnaire compiled by Hu Yueqin and Gan Yiqun in 2008 to investigate the students' resilience basic status of second,fourth and sixth grade of a primary school in Kunming,Yunnan province.Besides,this study worked with experimental method which design to completely random experiment in two factors and three levels,and for experimental group,researcher intervened the migrant children with reading psychological counseling for once a week and lasting for 10 weeks.The following conclusions are drawn from this study:(1)In each dimension of mental elasticity,the migrant children performed well firstly in target-focus and positive cognitive,secondly in emotional control,thirdly in interpersonal assist and the last is family support,and in demographic variables,gender,grade,parents' educational level,family relationship and the time to move in has significant differences.(2)Picture-books reading psychological counseling can significantlyimprove the resilience level of migrant children;(3)Picture-books reading with guidance can efficiency improve resilience than unsupervised picture-books reading;(4)The effect of picture book reading activity has significant difference in grade.
