In Yuecheng District of Shaoxing City,the present pronunciation of ancient “Yi mu word”is mainly nasal.This paper mainly discusses the variation of the initial pronunciation of the ancient “Yi mu word” in Shaoxing Yuecheng dialect.This paper investigates the pronunciation of nearly 100 people by sociolinguistic method and experimental phonetics,analyses the variation of the present pronunciation of the ancient “Yi mu word” in Yuecheng dialect of Shaoxing,discusses the linguistic and social factors that influence its variation,and finds that the variation of the present pronunciation of the ancient “Yi mu word” is closely related to the age factor.With the decrease of age,the variation degree becomes more and more serious.High,faster and faster,the trend of variation is the loss of nasal consonants.The results of the experiment show that the time of pronunciation of ancient “Yi mu word” tends to shorten with age.At the same time,it is found that the fall-off and shortening of nasal consonants are quite prominent among women,so it is likely that this evolution will be led by women at last.The article's chapters and main contents are arranged as follows:The first chapter introduces the geography and population of Shaoxing and the research situation of Shaoxing dialect,and explains the research goal,significance and research methods of this paper.Chapter two obtains a large amount of corpus through audio-recording investigation,carries on the data analysis and collation,describes and analyses the synchronic variation of the ancient “Yi mu word”.Chapter three makes an analysis of the causes of the variation of the present pronunciation of ancient “Yi mu word” from two aspects: linguistic factors and social factors.Chapter IV summarizes the general evolution trend of the ancient “Yi mu word”.The fifth chapter summarizes the full text.
