Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language is to better serve the higher needs of foreign students to learn Chinese. It also gradually broadens the research field and enriches the research content.Discourse is one of the research topics.Although many international students have a certain Chinese foundation after a period of Chinese study, they can also carry out daily communication, however, they are also stiff in expression, which is not in line with the habit of Chinese expression. The same is also true in writing. This is because the application of cohesive devices and the mastery of textual knowledge are still a big problem for international students.Based on the cohesion theory proposed by Halliday and Hasan, this paper adopts the methods of bias analysis and data statistics, and takes the corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University “HSK dynamic composition corpus” as the basis, the 100 compositions of students from Central Asian and Russian were selected. From the perspective of grammatical cohesive devices, this paper examines the problems of textual cohesion in the writing of foreign students, analyzes the causes of the errors. From the perspective of learners and teachers, this paper proposes teaching suggestions to improve the cohesiveness of Chinese and Asian students.Through the analysis of the cohesiveness of Chinese students in Central Asia and Russia,it provides a valuable reference for text teaching and helps Asian and Russian students to quickly master solid writing skills. It also enriches the study of textual connections between Chinese and Asian students in Central Asia and provides a reference for improving the Chinese language ability of students from Central Asia and Russia.
