Hungarian composer,pianist,and conductor Ernst Dohnanyi(Hungarian: Dohnányi Ern?,German: Ernst von Dohnányi,1877-1960)is one of the greatest musicians in Hungary after Liszt.Although he was in the 20 th century,his works were pure romanticism,his composition style was full of 19 th century aesthetic thoughts,and his music creation combined with the unique Hungarian national color.Music is often accompanied by a wide melody,rich harmony and exquisite technology,but also give full play to the inner feelings.Violin Sonata in c sharp minor Op.21 is his only violin sonata.This paper will analyze Dohnanyi's Violin Sonata in sharp c minor by means of comparative method,qualitative and quantitative method and literature study method,and explain the main technical types of right hand,as well as its interpretation of musical emotion,to promote their own cognition and performance of the track through research.
