Research On Lighting Festival Design Method From Urban Renewal Perspective

Under the background of globalization,the strategy and appearance of cities tend to be similar.It is difficult for cities to form differentiation advantages and deliver a clear city image to the public.Therefore,to fully use the unique value of culture is an important way to shape a city's personality and enhance its competitiveness.At present,the use of public art activities for urban brand construction has become a trend for global city to improve their images,show their cultural advantages.In this cultural context,lighting festival emerges as a large-scale art activity held in public space in the city,which displays the unique charm of the city night scene with the lighting installation of art and technology.From the lighting festival in Lyon,France,which has a long history,to the lighting festival in Sydney,Australia,which has attracted the most tourists for its cultural innovation,in-depth and systematic research on the lighting festival,especially the research on methods and design practice guidance,is extremely urgent.This paper focuses on the research of the lighting festival on application level,and systematically constructs the lighting festival from its structure,theme,art organization and operation system,in order to provide methodological reference for lighting festival organization and implementation in China.This study mainly includes five parts.Firstly,modularization analysis is carried out on the activity of lighting festival to form two functional levels,namely the leading mechanism and planning execution,and to construct an effective operation mechanism of lighting festival.Secondly,by generating the content theme of the lighting festival,this paper summarizes the two forms of demonstration theme and spatial regional theme to build the content generation mechanism of the lighting festival.Fourthly,the art organization of lighting festival is constructed by analyzing the art organization of an important part of the execution of lighting festival,sorting out the art source and management mode.Finally,by analyzing the specific operation mechanism of the lighting festival,the working content method of the execution and planning of specific activities is constructed,and the specific operation mechanism of lighting festival is constructed.Inaddition,this study takes Wuhan International Lighting Art festival as an example to explore the implementation methodology of light festival by combining theory with practice.
